[China Glass Net] Most of the sealant is a synthetic adhesive (the term "synthetic adhesive" is provided by the industry encyclopedia), the main body of which is the polymer (the term "polymer" is provided by the industry encyclopedia), its nature can be divided into three Class: Ontology properties, process properties, and properties of use (product properties). The nature of use (product performance) is self-evident mainly refers to the comprehensive properties of the sealant during the formation of the cementation process to the formation of cemented joints, which depends on the functional requirements of the joints for the sealant. Whether it is for the exterior protection of the building or the interior decoration of the building; whether it is a window structure or other forms of enclosure and decorative structure, they can be regarded as a unit composition, then each joint creates a seam, which is absolutely large Most require architectural sealants to seal the fill. The reasonable design of the joints of the building, the understanding of the building sealant, the rational selection of materials and the correct construction of the building seal are essential to the success of the joint sealing of the building.
(1) Acid gel
1. Acidity (The term “acid†is provided by the industry encyclopedia). The plastic bottle will grow taller after storage for a period of time. The deformation may even result in oil in the bottle. Why?
There are two reasons for this problem, both related to glue and plastic bottles.
Back to the front, the reason for the glue. Nowadays, acid glue on the market, except for a few high-grade glues, other acid glues add a certain amount of filler to different degrees to reduce the cost, and the lower the grade of the glue, the more the filler is added, and the filler It will react with the rubber bottle, so that the plastic bottle grows taller, deforms and the bottle has oil; for example, the high-grade rubber may make the rubber bottle react after 6 months, and the lower-grade rubber may react after 6 months.
Second, the reason for the plastic bottle. The quality of the material of the plastic bottle is also the cause of the long height. The raw materials used in the bottle are also good and bad. When the raw materials used are good, the trend of the change of the plastic bottle is slow. For example, a good quality plastic bottle can be stored in high-grade rubber for 7-8 months and still has no reaction; on the contrary, the use of poor quality plastic bottles, even with a good glue, may be deformed in 2-3 months.
2. Why do you see thicker or dry glue from the bottom of the rubber bottle?
This is mainly produced during the packaging process. Because it takes a certain amount of time from loading the glue to pressing the cover, although the time is short, the glue is also in contact with the air. If the sealant is cured a lot from the bottom, it is caused by the tightness of the bottom cover and the bottle seal, which is a quality control problem of the packaging material.
3. The acid gel will break or have small bubbles during the extrusion process. Why?
This situation is mainly caused by the following two reasons.
First, the storage temperature is too low: if the acid gel (especially low-grade glue) is stored at a lower temperature, a lot of bubbles will form. The reason may be that after low temperature storage, the liquid material changes due to the shrinkage volume to form more bubbles, so it is recommended that the storage temperature not be lower than 0 °C.
The second is formed during the canning process: in the normal canning, the tail of the plastic tail often has a small amount of small bubbles, which is difficult to avoid in the current operation mode, and will not cause substantial use. Impact: If there are more bubbles or interruptions (large bubbles), it is caused by improper operation, it must be improved and should be avoided. However, there are also probabilistic problems in this situation. If there are fewer or occasional such phenomena, it should be regarded as an accident. Large bubbles should be avoided as much as possible during operation.
4. Why does the surface of the acid gel wrinkle after curing?
This is mainly caused by the fact that the rubber layer is too thin when the two substrates (the term "substrate" is supplied by the industry encyclopedia) are too thin, and the temperature difference is large due to the difference in thermal expansion and contraction ratio of different materials. The fully cured glue will deform and wrinkle.
Solution: Thicken the adhesive layer. Generally, the thickness of the adhesive layer is generally about 1mm. It is recommended to increase the thickness to (1.5-2)mm.
5. Why does the acid gel change when it is cured?
When the acid gel is cured, it will release acetic acid, which is corrosive to the metal material (the term "corrosion" is provided by the industry). The reason why it can be used on aluminum is because the surface of the aluminum is coated with an oxide film or coating. , with a layer of coating for protection. Therefore, in general, the discoloration of aluminum is not a problem of glue. There are many problems involved in the construction operation and the quality of the aluminum itself. The quality of aluminum material mainly refers to the coating (the term "coating" is provided by the industry encyclopedia). The coating layer of aluminum is not qualified. For example, the adhesion (the term "adhesion" is provided by the industry encyclopedia) is not good, the film layer is too thin, etc. It will affect the discoloration after sizing; improper construction will also cause discoloration. If the aluminum material is placed in a poorly ventilated environment after sizing, the acetic acid released by the curing of the glass glue cannot be dissipated in time, and the local concentration is too high, and the aluminum material is corroded for a long time.
