What is topaz?
Topaz, mineralogist also known as Huang Jing, English name Topaz, often referred to as topaz in the domestic jewelry industry, transliteration in English. Because of its production in Longling, and the main color of yellow, it was eventually named Huangyu, and some people called Huangyu.
Before the development of jade, Huangyu was only used as an ornamental stone to be collected and bought by people. It was called "yellow wax stone". Because of its fine stone texture, golden color, large block type, rich changes, and high ornamental value, it has reached thousands or even thousands of yuan per kilogram. The speed of its price increase has set a miracle in the history of jade. In fact, not all yellow wax stones can be considered as topaz, only the yellow stone that reaches the jade level is called "topaz".
