In December of this year, 269 jewels by Elizabeth Taylor, the famous American movie star, will be auctioned. Now, collections including this group of upcoming auction jewels have begun their global tour. On the 10th, these treasures landed in West Hollywood, California.
Among the exhibits on display, there are many jewels given to her by her fifth husband, Richard Burton, and others from family and friends, including her third husband, Mike Todd. Mark Porter, head of the United States Department of Christie’s auction house responsible for organizing the exhibition, introduced Taylor’s love of jewelry and jade. Along with the jewellery, Taylor's several long skirts will also be displayed. These skirts will also be auctioned in New York in December along with her jewels. All of the collections are valued at more than $30 million.

After the end of the California exhibition, the treasures will be exhibited in Dubai, Geneva, Paris and Hong Kong. From December 13th to 16th, these treasures will be auctioned in New York and the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Taylor's Foundation for the Prevention of AIDS.
